Mr. Berwanger's Class Website
FALL 2020 covid-19 Update
7/31 UPDATE:
I'm noticing my site has been getting a spike of traffic the past week. I'm assuming this is past or future students checking teacher's old blogs for any inside information on what this virtual semester will look like :). To satiate your need as best I can, I'll tell you what I can as it pertains to this blog: I am in the process of "transferring" (for lack of a better word) my blog to CTLS as this will in effect serve as my new blog --in addition to however else it will be utilized during the virtual semester. When I can share this I will share whatever I can however I can about what to expect for Engineering in the Fall of 2020. All you are looking at now on this page is what my blog looked like as I began preparing it for the Fall semester in June and then stopped when I realized that this blog was in all likelihood going to retire.
If you are reading this and have never been in my class: I look forward to having you and whatever challenges the future will bring for us! If you are curious, I encourage you to go to look at my Fall 2019 Foundations of Engineering Blog (go to more > archive > scroll down to the button corresponding to Fall 2019 Foundations blog) for a general visualization of what this course looks like.
If you are reading this and have been in my class: Don't stress yourself over checking back on this site to see what Engineering will look like in Fall of 2020, I am working on this in CTLS now and so you won't see much happening here. Keep on hanging tight and I send you my wishes for the health and happiness of you and your family.
And as always, please feel more than free to email me at [email protected] with any questions or if you just want to check in

Mr. B
Welcome to my Engineering class site! This semester, I am teaching all four levels of the Engineering classes --Foundations of Engineering, Engineering Concepts, Engineering Applications and Research & Design. For each class, there is a dedicated blog (Applications and Research/Design are merged into one) which can be found by hovering over the "Engineering Class Blogs" heading on the toolbar above and then clicking the relevant page below. Additionally, there is a resources page for each level of the class which can be found under the "Course Resources" tab. Lastly, there is an "About Me" page to find out about my background and an "Archive" from previous semester's blogs.
I intend to keep this website regularly updated with all notes, assignments, important class information and other helpful resources as the year progresses so please refer back to this site whenever you have been absent or are uncertain about your understanding of class material. Hopefully, this will keep students on top of this class and to help keep parents in the know about the work being done inside this classroom. To students: I look forward to teaching each and every one of you this year and hope to support your learning and growth however I can! To parents: I always welcome your feedback and input, so please feel more than free to contact me any time throughout this school year.
