About Me
I am thrilled to be teaching you this semester at Wheeler High School! This is my second year teaching at Wheeler and this semester I will be teaching Foundations of Engineering, Engineering Concepts as well as BEST Robotics --which is being offered as a class and not a club for the first time! Additionally, some of my other involvement at Wheeler High School includes:
Previously in the world of education, I have student-taught Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry at Paulding County High School while I was getting my Master's degree in the Art of Teaching (MAT) from Kennesaw State University. Prior to this I worked in the world of Engineering, having a degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, at a startup company called Clean-Hands Safe-Hands for three years part-time and full-time. This company aimed to reduce infections and viruses acquired inside a hospital by implementing a technology to track nurse's washing/sanitizing their hands and to remind them when they forget. Aside from this, I have hobbies of playing basketball, rock climbing (I was an instructor through Georgia Tech's outdoor program and continue to climb if/when I ever have time) and an am aspiring balloon animal artist :). I look forward to getting to know all of you this year and invite you to contact me with any questions you have at anytime! |
