For the rest of this week we will look at surveying and how it is used by Civil Engineers. What is surveying you ask? Surveying is the technique of determining the relative position of different features on, above or beneath the surface of the earth by means of direct or indirect measurements.

PSA: We may be going outside tomorrow (weather permitting) so bring a jacket tomorrow (on Thursday) Thursday 10/25 In groups of 4(ish) gather one (1) transit-level, one (1) surveying rod, one (1) tripod, and one (1) tape measure to complete the following surveying adventure.
