If you are happy with your final portfolio grade, all the other grades in your gradebook and projects, then you are 100% done with the semester! Thank you for making this a great semester and a great first year for me at Wheeler. Until next time, I hope you all have a GREAT summer!

Attached below are the instructions for how you can replace zeros in the gradebook for SMART Goal related grades. In short, since we did the SMART Goals to practice planning, you just need to submit other forms of evidence of planning.
Instructions for SMART Goal Grade Recovery: gradereplacement.pdf Google Form to submit your artifact: link due dates for grades
End of Sprint Google Form
First, here is the end of sprint google form: forms.gle/LzkuXCdMupGGqZJW7 If you are in 2nd or 4th block, do this either today or Monday. If you are in 3rd block ignore this for now. Scroll down two posts to the SMART Goal Google form which is dated for 4/29-5/3 (the EOC scheduling threw off our syncing) Making a Resume Second, for those of you wishing to make or edit a resume, here is a great website for building your own resume: www.myperfectresume.com NVM YOU HAVE TO PAY TO DOWNLOAD AFTER YOU MAKE YOUR PORTFOLIO, DON'T USE THIS. I HAVE A WORD TEMPLATE ON MY THUMB DRIVE I CAN GIVE YOU You are not required to make a resume for your portfolio (see the portfolio rubric, you can alternatively list tools/skills on a portfolio page) as I don't wish to cram your schedule this upcoming week, BUT it is a good thing to have in your life going forward to apply for jobs or schools. For those of you that do wish to make a resume, here are some tips to consider. It can be a kind of strange thing getting started, but a little bit of effort with can make big difference. I'll gladly sit down with you one on one and help you get started :)
END OF YEAR RUBRICS - POSTER, FINAL PORTFOLIO CHECK, AND PAST PORTFOLIO CHECK GRADE RECOVERIES5/2/2019 I've got three rubrics for you! One for the poster which every group needs (one per team, and if you completed this for the STEAM Symposium consider yourself done), another for the final portfolio check, and the last is a rubric for if you wish to have grade recovery for any past portfolio check. The two portfolio-relevant rubrics (#2 and #3 also have a self-evaluation google form to accompany them). Any of these can be completed at any time up this week or next week, but no later than next Thursday, 5/9, as to give me time to properly grade and review them :)
A SPECIAL NOTE FOR 3RD BLOCK: YOU HAVE A SMART GOAL GOOGLE FORM TO FILL OUT! The other classes had theirs from 4/29-5/3, but it will be 5/3-5/10 for y'all because of the shortened days you had this week. Link: https://forms.gle/4PTJJSv2wHbkwui47

We have ~3 1/2 weeks left in school! We will have one more Sprint-like Google Form after this, but we're on the winding down part of the semester now! Other noteworthy things to expect from the remainder of this semester:
STEAM Symposium is this Thursday! Here is verbatim the info sent to me for students participating in the STEAM Symposium:
"Students Participating in the STEAM Symposium:
If any of this doesn't work for you let me know. We have enough Engineering students participating that we can help each other out (namely with moving/setting up), but don't expect anything to magically get moved into the arena for your team. Additionally, I'm hoping we can even get started setting up during 4th block Wednesday. Lastly, make sure to email/share with me your STEAM poster if you have a digital file and wish me to get it printed for you. Hope you all's week has been going alright and that you've been free from fire alarms without me being there.
Here is an end-of-Sprint Google Form: https://forms.gle/R2Ttk4yx9HzqBdov7 You can do this either today, or if you don't get it done until Monday I won't hold it against you. Have a GREAT last day and I look forward to seeing you all and hearing about your week on Monday :) In case you missed the message, I am going to be gone for the entirety of this week after today (Monday) at the World FIRST Robotic's Competition in Houston, TX for Wheeler's FTC team. Do not fret though! I have the utmost trust that you all will be able to have a productive week without me and that the substitutes and you all will hold each other accountable for the safety and effectiveness of one another.
We have two notable events coming up:
In preparation for these two noteworthy happenings, here is the list of priorities we have this week:
Lastly, here is a google Form to fill out:
That's it! I'll be available all week, just not physically present. I'll have my phone and computer with me at all times so you can email me and I'll answer promptly, or we can even arrange to have a phone call on the class phone. Good luck, stay safe, respect the tools that are off limits and behind closed doors and I hope you all have a GREAT week! The STEAM Symposium is April 25th and project proposals for this are due tomorrow, April 9th!
You are not required to submit your project(s) to the STEAM Symposium, but I highly recommend you to as this is a great opportunity to showcase your work and add to the Wheeler STEAM community. Additionally, there will be no difference in the amount of documentation work which will be expected for projects in the STEAM Symposium and those that are not. To Do: In preparation for the STEAM Symposium on April 25th, there are two action items I have for you:
